Najarra Townsend

Najarra already knew what she wanted to do with her life from the young age of 3. She began modeling and acting in stage productions locally while remaining engaged in both theatre and musical productions during her childhood and teens. Ten years ago, she made her debut on the big screen, co-starring in the movie "Menace". Najarra's performance in the Sundance as well as the Cannes award winning "Me as well as You and Everyone We are" was a hit in 2005 and drew international notice. She has played the titular character in numerous films which include: "Tru Loved", "Marin Blue", "Betty I am" as well as in many other Indie films. The audience was able to see an entirely new facet of Najarra's young star when they watched the horror movie "Contracted" that was released by IFC Midnight in 2014.
