Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American actor and performer who started her career through smart raps that addressed sexuality and racial identities with a boldly comic perspective. Then she branched out into Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. She was born in Forest Hills Queens, she was a child of Chinese immigrants as well as Koreans. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop education began when she was just a teenager. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism, and women's studies at college, even studying Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. Not until after graduation did her focus shift to music. The track My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity on the Internet in the year 2012. The track was later included on her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also contained viral hits including body positive Queef and winking tour of her home NYC BitcheUSD. The latter track connected directly into another venture Awkwafina's NYC A travel guide that was released in the year 2015. The singer decided to make a career as an actor following the completion of her previous two projects, as an author and musician. Alongside early TV shows such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films such as Neighbors 2. Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, her breakout roles included Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP came out in June.
